Article Formatting
Due to the fact that there is very little order in profiles, episodes, etc. articles, we are making some. Articles should be written in the following order.
Episode Article
There will be episode template info boxes. Use the following format:

Synopsises should be concise and to the point.
Spelling and Grammar
Capitalisation
The following words do not need to be capitalised unless they are the beginning of a sentence or part of a proper noun:
- Believix
- Enchantix
- Winx
- Tracix
- Speedix
- Zoomix
- Sophiex
- Lovix
- Evil
- Good
- Fairy
- Witch
- etc.
We have all taken English classes and the grammar has not changed in the last few years. You have absolutely no reason capitalise those words in the middle of a sentence. The English language, especially in a wiki, IS NOT THE PLACE TO MAKE UP YOUR OWN RULES.
Fairy
The spelling 'fairy' should be used only. Alternate spellings such as "fay, fae, faerie, fayrie, etc" are not acceptable. This is a reference guide to the Winx Club series and as such should be treated like a dictionary with uniform spelling.
To conclude, the only accepted spelling is fairy and its plural variant fairies.
Contractions: don't, won't, wouldn't, couldn't...
They should spelled out completely. A contraction is a shortened form of a word or words. Example:
Will not becomes won't
Cannot becomes can't
Would not becomes wouldn't
Could not becomes couldn't
Might have becomes might've
They have becomes they've
They are becomes they're
etc.
Contractions are never used in formal essays in the real world and so it should not appear in a Winx Club guide either. So any contractions should be spelled out completely. Proper nouns that indicate possession such "Stella's Ring of Solaria" or "Bloom's boyfriend Sky" are exempt from this rule.
Beware of Bias
Regarding grammar, all descriptions must be IMPARTIAL. That means sentences that give a bias such "Bloom is a beautiful redheaded girl from Earth" is a no-no. For example:
Good: Aurora is a fairy with long blond hair and blue eyes. Darkar is a being that lives in Shadowhaunt.
Bad: Aurora is a fairy with long blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. Darkar is an ugly being that lives in Shadowhaunt.
Any adverbs and adjectives that are debatable then should be left out. Beauty is a matter of opinion. Use pictures along with descriptions to get your point across.
Pictures

- On this wiki, we prefer to use screenshots. That being said, if a screenshot is not available, stock art may be used.
- Stock art MUST be official. If you are not sure, leave me a message, and I will take a look.
- No pictures with labeling on them (i.e. the Layla and Nabu picture I have.) None of that. On the articles, at least. User pages are fine.
- You may upload pictures solely for your user page and icon. No fan art.
- No fan art is to be used on the pages. Hello, it is FAN ART! Meaning not official, not real. This includes promo art, it is not to be used on articles. (Promo art is fine on user pages).
- Explicit images are not allowed. Ever. Not even on user pages. Little girls might look at this wiki, do we want them seeing that stuff? No, we do not.
- I will go through the pictures periodically, and grade them. Any picture below an A or B (i.e. not following criteria) will be deleted, by myself or someone else on the wiki.
- If the colors seem off, i.e. too bright and not enough color, or too dark and not able to see it, it is not very good and should not be used ANYWHERE.
- Any art from Stella's Fab Fashions is not to be used. As the pictures are painted, this is considered fan art.
- The quality of a picture depends on how well you are able to see it. If the picture is so grainy that you can barely see the characters, then get a clue: DO NOT use it.
Size is important.
If it is smaller than 400x300 pixels, like below: DO NOT UPLOAD!!
Small pictures are acceptable for user icons only.
