Riven and Musa
Personality Profile and History
Riven puts up a cold front, and has trouble expressing his emotions as they scare him. He grew up alone, so he lives for himself according to his own rules. Riven mistrusts females, as his mother abandoned him at birth, and is considered a chauvinist. He's very competitive. He is a good swordsman, wielding a scimitar-styled purple phantoblade and a phanto sai with a mace. He is also good at all kinds of sports. Some characters see him as a daredevil, clever and touchy. Riven is shown as having an interest in, and being the love interest of Musa all through the first and second seasons. He admits he likes her at the end of the first season, but they don't become a couple until the end of the second season. In season three, Musa considers breaking up with him. Later on, during the mission to the Red tower, Riven gets into a fight with Nabu because he mistakenly believed that Nabu was trying to steal Musa from him. The misunderstanding was soon cleared up, and Musa decided to stay with Riven seeing that he did care about her. Riven and Nabu also became good friends after this misunderstanding was cleared up. In the film, Riven is the maverick again, and is hypnotized by Mandragora's spy bug, but at the end he's returned to normal.
Michael Sinterniklaas voices Riven in the 4Kids version, Mitchell Rothpan in the RAI English version, and Mirko Mazzanti in the original version. Riven's birthday is November 6th in the 4Kids version and October 15th in the original version.

It the first season, Riven has a graet deal of pride and believes he is the most talented specialist.
Riven in the first season
This could be seen even from the very first episode. There were affection between them, but Riven wouldn't admit it he liked Musa until the end of the season. In the day of the roses, Bloom and Riven argued, thus giving the Trix there chance to take control. The disguised Knut as Timmy and he went to give a special helmet to Bloom. She decided to give it to him, as a 'I'm sorry' token. And so the hoverbike race began. Darcy joined in and took out all the other contestants until she caught up with Riven. Bloom discovered the Trix's plan after Stella told her that Timmy went home for the day. She then tries to stop and warn Riven, but just as she was aproaching him, the Trix activated the hypnotizing helmet. He blames Bloom and ends up spying for them. When he discovered that the Trix used him, and so he leaves them. He was then reunited with the the Winx and his fellow specialists.
